This Snake is found in India, Pakistan, Iran & other many countries. But nowadays, some Red Sand boas Snakes are killed because of people's illusion.

Some Foresters say the Red Sand Boa is going to be a protected species. This Snake is very expensive which is around 25 lakhs INR.

The snake is used for Medicinal uses such as to cure Asthma, Rheumatism, Joint pain & Erectile dysfunction. Illegally, some smugglers take this snake's skin & sell in foreign countries for the preparation of Cosmetics and in the making purpose of leather, handbags, jackets, shoes, purses etc.

In addition, there is a superstition in Malaysia county, the people believe that the Red Sand Boa Snake is good luck for them.

These reasons cause this Snake almost very expensive.
