Do lizards bleed through eye?
Have you heard of blood streaming out of a lizard's eyes?!!!!!

The lizard 'Hord toad' found in the deserts of N.America and Mexico feed on small insects and lie under warm sand.
They are about 5 inches long.
Sometimes this animal exhibits the phenomenon of bleeding through the eye.

There are several theories explaining this. One is that the pressure of blood in the lizard's head increases and the thin capillaries in its eye break, resulting in a flow of blood. It is believed that the lizard does this to escape from enemies. And if this spray of blood falls into the eyes of the enemy he will indeed be blinded for a short while.
