The great Himalayas are one of the best gifts given by nature to mankind. Unrivaled tranquillity, enthralling adventures, snow capped peaks is how we can define the beauty of the Himalayas. The Himalayas offer a number of mesmerising and amazing destinations to have a great time at our vacations.

1. Patnitop:
Patnitop is a small hill station located in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a perfect place to experience nature at its picturesque best and widest. The Meadows in Patnitop are surrounded by dense Deodar forest and lush greenery of pines. Madhatop located 5 kms from Patnitop is the excellent area accessorised with a number of outdoor activities like skiing and trekking as well as water springs, all together making it a popular tourist destination. It is also popular for Paragliding, aero sports, horse riding and photography.

2. Mukteshwar:
Mukteshwar is a sleepy town in West Uttarakhand known for adventure sports and a dazzling view of majestic Himalayan range. It is perched high upon the Kumaon Hills at an altitude of 1500 ft above sea level and is named after the 350 year old Shiva temple housed here called Mukteshwar Dham. It is also a popular destination for adventure sports like rock climbing and rappelling in the high mountain ranges of this region.

3. Mana:
This small pilgrim village in the state of Uttarakhand holds the title of being 'The Last Indian Village' situated on the banks of River Saraswati along the road to Tibet. Mana is set at an attitude of 3219 m and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains that will take your breath away. Bheema Pul one of a popular tourist spot in Mana is believed to be created by Bheema, near River Saraswati. It is a high rock formed as a bridge across the river.

4. Narkand:
It is a quaint little village town in Shimla district located on the last watershed of the Himalayan range between Sutlej River and Giri River. Therefore, it offers awe inspiring views of the snowy peaks, especially during the sunset, when the red, crimson and orange lines form on the clouds and the snow. Narkhanda also has a lake called the Tani Jubbar Lake which is one of the most popular important tourist attractions. The Hatu Peak has been yet another most popular tourist spot which one can trek up to.

5. Kufri:
Located in the Southern part of the Himalayas, Kufri is a tiny hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. It is world famous for its amazing Ski track and therefore is always with tourists. Kufri offers panoramic views of the surrounding verdant valleys and adventure sports, steep hikes and even a few interesting sightseeing spots.

6. Chopta:
Chopta a picturesque hamlet located in the Uttarakhand is the most wonderful tourist destination to visit. Mornings at Chopta comes with cool breezes, the chirping of birds, and the rays of the sun kissing the top of the Himalayas, giving them a crimson hue. It is also known as the "Mini Switzerland" of India and is getting popular year after year.

7. Auli:
Located in the Northern States of Uttarakhand, Auli is a most visited snow capped hill station. The bitter cold winds and the snow capped Himalayas make Auli, an ideal destination for Ski lovers. This hilly terrain also offers the enchanting sceneries of oak fringed slopes and coniferous forest.

8. Ladakh:
Ladakh is located in the fractious region of North West Jammu and Kashmir in India. This blissful abode of snow capped mountains, rivers in the valleys, impossibly scenic lakes and never ending vast landscapes is a travelers paradise. The land of Ladakh is encircled by various Himalayan mountain ranges and features spectacular views from the highest motorable road in the world, diverse wildlife and mirror still blue lakes.

9. Gulmarg:
Gulmarg is a majestic hill station and a popular skiing destination in the province of Baramula of Jammu and Kashmir. Gulmarg Gondola is one of the main attractions and also the world's highest and Asia's longest cable car project to reach the Ski Area. Beautiful and serene landscapes and pristine lakes accompanied with lavish greenery are other alluring things about this region.
