Dementia And It's Related Symptoms And Causes

Dementia is generally called as a mental disorder in which a person is not able to remember anything and the person's thinking power is reduced.This dementia effects upon the person's daily life by reducing the thinking power.It is mostly seen in the women than in the males.

Generally dementia results in the decreased thinking,unable to recognize the things or persons ,emotionally they will be more stressed etc.

Our human body consists of neurons which consists of many nerve cells which conducts nerve impulses to pass the information from cell to cell and to begin the action. In this persons who got dementia these nerve cells are damaged and there is no passing of information to the cells and there is no action is seen. This leads to the decreased thinking power and remembering power of a person. This also results in sleeplessness . Due to this the person can be mentally affected more and the health can be worse due to sleeplessness.

The person with dementia cannot speak properly , depression, anxiety, psychotic signs can be seen. Slowly they could not recognize anything, and will probably forget all the things ,memories etc.

For these persons early education should be necessary and cognitive training should be given to encourage them to remember the things. Psychological treatment is provided for the patients with psychotic symptoms and aggressive behavior.

For the people with this problem a lot of family support should be taken. It is important to maintain the emotional state of a person to not get into the depression. It is known that generally older people are more prone to it. The person should be in a stable environment that the person feels happy and be able to remember all the things in his or her life. It is observed that by doing the regular exercise and by receiving the behavioral therapy one can be able to prevent the risk of dementia.
