Béla Varga a resident of Szinpetri a small village in northern Hungary has made a book with her own hands. It is claimed that it is the largest book in the world. 71 year old Béla Varga used traditional book binding techniques to create it.

This book is 4.18 meters long and 3.77 meters wide has 346 pages. It weighs 1420 kg. In this book, information was given about the atmosphere of the area, the structure of the caves, the terrain. Béla told that this book is in discussion not only because of its size but also because of the technology used in its construction.

The book is different from other books giving information about this area. Wood tables and cow leather sourced from Argentina have been used for this. It takes 6 people to turn its page. These people are able to do this with the help of a machine.

A small copy of the book has also been prepared, so that the name of the book can be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. It weighs 11 kg. Both books were prepared simultaneously. According to Béla Varga "He has received a yak tail as a special gift from the Prime Minister of Bhutan."
