Foods and Their Routine for Children below 5 years age:
Intake of food for every baby is different and everyday is different too. It will take some trial and error to figure out the best feeding schedule for your child. From infant stage to five years age is very crucial period to arrange variety of foods. Basically when the child interested in eating and when he isn't is very important.

Start feeding for newborn babies. some babies do not have enough breast milk, so they need formula milk. Use formula milk such as Similac advance, Nanpowder etc; according to their age.
Age: Newborn: 15-30 oz every 2-3 hrs.
1-2 weeks: 2-4 oz 6 to 10 times a day.
2-4 weeks: 5-6 oz 6 to 8 times a day.
2 months: 5-6 oz 5 to 6 times a day.
3-5 months: 6-7 oz 5 to 6 times a day.son's
4-8 months: max 32 oz 4 to 5 times a day.
9 months: max 32 oz 3 to 5 times a day.
10-12 months: max 32 oz 3 to 4 times a day.
Start small meals for six months old baby. Generally mothers have several doubts about feeding after six months. In this article, I should clear all your doubts. It is my personal experience. I have 2 years old son. Previously, I had many doubts about my son's feeding patterns. I start with homemade uggu which is prepared by healthy options.Take half kg of raagi, one glass of rice, one glass of wheat, one glass of moong dal, one handful of blackgram dal, one glass of cashewnuts, almonds, and walnuts. Wash and soak raagi overnight and dry them under sunlight. After that wash the rice, wheat, moongdal and blackgram dal and dry them under sunlight for 5 hours. Later dry roast raagi, moongdal, rice, wheat, cashewnuts, almonds, walnuts and blackgram dal separately until raw smell goes away for few minutes. Then allow to cool them and make them into fine powder. Store it in airtight container. For your baby, take 1/4 glass of water and boil it till water gets rolling boiling. Take a bowl add 2 tbsps of raagi flour and add little amount of water and mix it well. Add this mixture to boiling water and cook it well. Finally add pinch of cumin powder and pinch of salt, 1tbsp ghee. It should be given as breakfast, lunch or dinner upto 1 year for their strong bones and teeth.

Children are easily prone to infectious diseases. So they need boiled and warm water five years of age to drink. water helps in their digestion. Later give 60ml to 120ml milk. Lunch and dinner are very important meals for children. My mother suggested some recipe ideas for my son. On the 8th day of sixth month I cooked two tbsps of rice and 1 tbsp of dal and one vegetable like carrot, tomato, cucumber, bottle gourd, or cabbage add them and cook them well. And grind them into fine paste and add pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of ghee. They will enjoy their meals.

Later I tried one leafy vegetable like spinach, malbar spinach, fenugreek with above recipe. Try these recipes continuously for two days. finally continue these recipes. Increase the quantity according to their age. Give them two tbsps of warm water after an hour of their meal. Plan their meals with variety of vegetables. Feed them mashed banana, apple puree as snacks. Prepare a feeding schedule for a week. It makes you easy to feed your children. Later I make him to feed normal vegetable curries with scrambled eggs. Prepare healthy and wise choices for babies.
