Haval will first launch its F5 and F7 SUV in the Indian market. Explain that the F5 is a compact SUV, while the F7 is a mid-size SUV. At launch, the F5 will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Celtos in the segment. At the same time, the comparison of the F7 will be the entry-level mid-size SUV from MG Hector and Tata Harrier in terms of price. Apart from this, it will also compete with the Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.

The F5 will only be available with the 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. This engine generates 168 PS of power and 285 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is provided with this engine, which is capable of powering the front wheels. Its feature list includes features like the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, 8-way electric adjusting power driver seat, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.

At the same time, 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter petrol engines have been given in the F7 available in the international market. The vehicle's 1.5-liter petrol engine generates 150 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. At the same time, the higher capacity 2.0-liter petrol engine gives 190 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox is provided with both engines. It is estimated that the company may also include the option of a manual gearbox in the model to be launched in India. Apart from this, diesel engine options can also be given in F7.
