Titanic was the largest ship of the world. On April 12, 1912 its maiden voyage from England to New York. More than two thousand passengers were in the ship. Inside the ship there was a huge space, it was look like floating hotel. There was a big swimming pool. The famous shipping company 'The White Star Line' had built it.During its voyage the ship had to pass through the very cold region, full of icebergs.

If the ship strikes against any of them, it would cause much damage. Two days passed off peacefully. It was April 14, around 11:40 pm was a sign of danger. There were a huge mountain of ice was right on the way of the ship. It was too close and there was no chance of avoiding the collision.It had hit an iceberg and the ship was sinking. In all 711 passengers were saved, but another 1,513 people had died.
